I think part of the difficulty with sharing love stems in part from people's hang-ups and associations with love, as well as perhaps a lack of understanding.
There are different types of love. Platonic, Agape, Eros, and Pathos being some of them. I think the problem arises
when people misconstrue what is being offered, mostly erring on the side of erotic.
