Merry-g0-round

We all travel in patterns so much.

Its breath-taking and maddening at the same time.

Orbits within orbits,

physically around one another,

and with our behavior, too.

Neuroses dancing 'round.

Sometimes I think I want to grow, progress,

and pay no attention to the mess,

just break the cycle,

for better or worse,

stop the merry-g0-round,

and get off.
