Slaving Propaganda Wheel

When I heard that journalists would be 'embedded', I immediately thought, "Well, good.  Now the Pentagon has really learned how to manage the news coverage of its wars."

There is the liability of a few journalists that could be killed, but hey, that's the price of peace and oil these days.

Its truly a masterful stroke.  They will not have any snooping journalists getting in the way, popping up on "secret" invasion points broadcast on CNN any longer.  In fact, they will manage all the coverage of this war by which division they send at their will.

And if something goes horribly wrong, and attrocities start to break out, well, can't send certain divisions to that area.

Because, apparently, very few American journalists are anywhere else.  Everything seems to be run by the pentagon, in this spooky war we really know little about as to what is happening, or why we are fighting, but that it is a great security threat for which we have had to give up many civil liberties and put blind faith in our government like good lemmings straight out of Orwellian lore.

And the journalist establishment skips along, tra la la, as the spinning wheel of propaganda gets cranked up to an even higher whine, a sound that has not cut off since the fateful day that started it all.
