Screwed On The Gift Ledger

Children of the world, unite.

We are totally screwed on the gift score.

Indeed.  The Ledger of Gifting is absolutely against us.

Reckoning between Grandparent's day, (which seems to be so much the sham "holiday" as I've seen since "sweetest's day"), Mother's Day, Father's Day, and our parent's anniversary, this leaves us something like four or five QUALITY gifts in the red.

Forgetting not for a moment, everyone's birthday, which, convieniently cancels each other out.

Its an injustice.  Serfs, slaves to the elder generation, willowing in their age, failing, using up more resources than they should be allowed.

I really don't have any viable solutions, however, beyond aboliting "Grand Parent's Day".

Perhaps gifts for all your progeny on 'Groud Hog's Day'.  Give me something on 'Arbor Day'.  Bring the swing back towards set point zero.

Greedy fuckers.

I don't know.

Youth will be served.
