On my way home after an interlude of solitude, I saw a sign on the highway. The sign read, "Killing a Construction Worker $7,500 fine, 2-15 years in prison." Is that all? Well, hell! Might as well put me down for 120mph through a construction zone and 2-3 of those guys right now! They're cheap. Its a bargain. Beats the cost of a murder one charge. The moral, perhaps being, that Society is putting a surprisingly low value on highway construction worker lives these days, and should you have a grudge, make sure you rub him out with your car ON-SITE.
