So was his father. So was Rumsfield. If polls show that he would gain points in the event of another terrorist attack, dont be too surprised if one pops up right before the election. It would just be a matter of blind spots at certain places at the right time. Again. Whenever an incumbent goes into the summer with a sub-fifty percent approval rating, it is dire news for his re-election effort. When he goes into september with those numbers, it is nearly fatal. After all, you cannot sink 1.2 billion dollars into a family and not expect some results from your investment. Its stupid to think otherwise. And George Bush thinks so, too. That's why his hands are stained red with the blood of many arabs. A frat boy, pushed out of his cognitive depth, his life shaped by others before his eyes, none of the decisions are his own. Like being coked up at a bar and seemingly waking up inside your own head chatting up a table of girls, captivated by them as they by you, deseperately trying to avoid sniffling or obvious nasal wiping, thinking rapid fire 'how the hell did I get here?' and 'woah, dont lose that last thought...keep it together...keeeeep it together.....', then SNIFF! and BAM! its all lost. So its no surprise we are where we are today. However, his legions follow him like unthinking sheep. I cannot shake the bad, desperate feeling I have whenever I look on him, that he will somehow steal a second term.
