Animals A consortium of crabs
comisserates on the fate of a murder of crows. A parliment of owls is called to order! Unswayed by the charm of finches, whittling away at the day, oblivious to the skulking of foxes waiting to take me away, from the siege of herons selling illicit backwater deals, selling dreams and cheap deals, telling me its all the same. Basking of alligators on the shore, jaws yawn wide wanting more! more! more! Troubling the hummingbirds nearby driving a stick-shift down mercy's way, lazy today, to the obvious exaltation of larks singing high above the labour of moles, who work away underground. Cackle and caw! A pandemonium of parrots, pleading for release, from gilded cages in the sun. No one mentions the ubiquity of sparrows free to flit and flout, nor the freedom of a slew of sharks, domineering in the deep, their kingdoms do not meet. We wander away down the hill past the dazzle of zebras, hoping to find, at long last a peace of humankind.
