Two Random Thoughts:

Bush touts his tax cuts as the cornerstone of his economic plan.  In doing so, the republicans have cut much of the federal funding that goes to the states.

So the states cut funding to the local municipalities, school districts et. cetera.

Then Bush pushes through the "No Child Left Behind Act" with no funding for the standards it mandates.

And then the schools have to cut teachers, because their not getting any money from the state, which isn't getting any money from the federal government.

And somehow, this is peachy?

The republicans only success has come on branding.  They are branded as the pro-life, pro-gun, anti-gay, prayer in schools party.  People identify that easily, because of the effect of advertising over the years.

And the Democrats are not branded at all, except as how the Republicans have spent dollars and time trying to brand their party for them, which pales in comparison to the dollars that the Republicans have spent on branding themselves.

People like easily understood things.  They are scared of their minds.  Branding works.

Even when logic breaks down.

So, if you're a suicide bomber, and you go through with it, you're granted 76 vigins to do with as you will in Paradise.

That's your heaven.  Sure, you've got eternity to teach them how to suck a dick.  Its an acquired skill, one that some women never truly learn, sadly.

Now, for these girls, Paradise means getting corn-holed on a regular basis by a sweaty, hairy middle easterner.

Heaven for some, Hell for others.  Its an interesting dynamic.

(Sure, I know they dont ascribe human rights to women, just sayin', even in that ideology, women gotta' go somewhere when they die.  What a raw deal that is.  "Yeah, this is Habib Ali, he doesnt know what a cliteraus is, and wouldnt care if he did.  Good luck, and have fun")
